You are located in Florida.  How do you mail to my city for a timed event?

BWaters drop-ships all mailings to your local SCF Postal Facility.  Shipping can take 1 to 2  business days to reach your location, but we can time the shipping to reach you for an on-time delivery for time sensitive mailings.

What about training?  My sales team has enough to know already!

There are only three things for your Sales staff to know:

  1. It takes 7 business days to print and mail your piece, plus any shipping time to get to your local postal facility – artwork needs to be received in time to let us accomplish timely mailings.
  2. We can print and mail just about any type of mailer – your customers aren’t limited to postcards, they just happen to be the most effective type of mailers for commercial advertising.  If your customer wants to mail something other than a postcard, BWaters will be happy to accommodate them.
  3. Your customers will have questions.  Just take down any questions and email them to us and we will have an answer back to you within 24 hours.  Mailing lists (if using a list other than your non-subscriber list) can be complicated, but that is why we are here to support you.

I have my subscriber list, but how do I get my non-subscriber list?

We have worked with many Newspapers to help them determine their non-subscriber list.  There is a small fee involved, but we will work with you to get that valuable list to you.

I have customer who wants to print a large quantity of cards, but only send out a few at a time, can you do that?

We sure can!  We do have a minimum mailing of 2000 pieces, but we will be happy to provide fulfillment services.

Do you contact my customers?

Never!  They are your customers and we never contact them.  If they have questions, your sales representative can call us and we will happily answer any and all of their questions.  The Sales Representative can then answer the customers questions.

Does our sales staff contact you about order jobs?

We do not recommend this.  Each Newspaper should have one contact person to place orders.  They can order on our user-friendly order page.  Your sales staff can always contact us about any questions they have, but orders should be from a single source.

Do you front postage?

No we do not.  We recommend setting up your own postal account (see the advertising benefits for your own permit question below) to deposit funds that can only be used by your Newspaper.  There is a fee to the USPS to do this, but it is a good investment.  We can also establish a Trust account for your postage.

What is the Advertising benefit to opening our own postage account?

By opening your own account you are not only creating a safe and secure way to monitor your postage, you are also creating a unique advertising vehicle.  Your permit can be a Company Style Indicia, that is, it will have the name of your Newspaper printed right on the permit:

PRSRT STD

US POSTAGE

PAID

YOUR TOWN NEWSPAPER

When customers receive the mailers they will see that your Newspaper is now offering mailing services.

How do we know a mailer has gone out?

With every invoice, you will receive a validated copy of the 3602.  This is the USPS form that tells you when a mailing went out, how many pieces went out and the total postage cost.

When I have a customer who wants to send out multiple mailings, do we have to pay for everything upfront?

All printing is invoiced at the time of the first mailing.  Postage is due at the time of each individual mailing.
